Keauhou Place

Keauhou Place is a modern day village in the middle of Kakaako with a focus on unity and community. The development claims to be inspired by rich history and salt lands that were teeming with culture, family, and merchants, so residents are getting much more than just a condo.

10957740_449608425186774_4235378472611549639_oLocated at 500 South Street, Keauhou Place is in the heart of its neighborhood surrounded by shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Downtown Honolulu is a short walk away, and transportation is easy. The future HART Civic Center Station is just adjacent to the condo tower, where the train route will run along Halekauilwila Street.

The 43-story building will house 423 units ranging from about 500 to 1,300 square feet. One-, two-, and three-bedrooms will be available, and all units except penthouses will include terraces. There are 133 one-bedroom units, 215 two-bedroom units, and 40 three-bedroom units. There is also a series of 35 two- and three-bedroom townhouses along South and Pohukaina Streets.

Pricing for one-bedroom layouts start at $400,000, two-bedrooms start at $500,000, and three-bedrooms start at $800,000. Prices for townhouses jump to a higher scale and the cost rises toward $1 million.

To name a few, the condo interiors boast Anigre wood cabinetry, porcelain tile flooring, and quartz countertops. Glass is used extensively in the design for modern style, and even the lanai railing is glass. Besides the attractive appearance, these condos are highly efficient. Energy Star appliances are supplied, and the full-sized stackable washer and dryer make laundry a snap.

Pets will also be allowed at Keauhou Place with a limit, and there will be a pet park on-site to accommodate dogs.

The highlights continue throughout the building. In addition to secure controlled-access elevators, a security office, and bike storage, residents also enjoy amenities like a large recreation deck, a refreshing pool and spa, and a well-equipped fitness center. Meet the neighbors in the community room, become a master chef in the full kitchen, explore the secret garden, or let the little ones play in the Keiki Tot Lot. If you would rather relax, just stretch out on the sun deck instead.

Keauhou Place is being developed by Stanford Carr Development, who has a history of building award-winning homes on the islands, and it is planned to premiere in 2017.
